The NEW YORK CB1087 stool by Connubia is an iconic and unmistakable model that perfectly combines vintage elegance with contemporary freshness and refinement.  

Equipped with a slender metal sled base, with integrated chromed footrest , complete with four shock-proof plastic glides in a neutral colour, positioned under the base, the stool is characterised by the width of the seat and the curved shape of the backrest which, together with the generous padding , ensure an ergonomic and comfortable seat even for long periods.

The stool can be made in a wide range of configurations that includes 5 finishes for the structure and upholstery in eco-leather, leather and fabric .

The seat, placed 65 cm from the ground, makes this stool suitable for islands or snack counters with a height between 90 and 100 cm; to ensure comfortable use, in fact, the stool must always have a seat 25 to 35 cm lower than the surface to which it must be placed.

  The leather used is obtained from the noblest part of the leather (the flower) of European bovine cut in variable thicknesses according to the needs and subjected to tanning. The external finish is obtained with water-based pigments.
