NEFF - The kitchen inspires people, people inspire the kitchen.
The first Neff workshop was established in Germany in 1877. The business originally specialised in coal-burning stoves, but gradually expanded into the production of ovens for domestic and industrial use. During the war, the company began to manufacture washing machines and refrigeration devices.
In the 1950s Neff produced larger built-in ovens for cooking several dishes at once, as well as time-saving microwave ovens: designed to meet the housewife's demand for greater independence. From 2000 onward Neff has continued to improve its range of kitchen appliances with new designs in stainless steel, emphasising the avant-garde character of its products.
Every year Neff awards for the performance, efficiency and contemporary style of its products.
Neff also specialises in steam ovens, to satisfy its customers' increasing interest in healthy eating. Neff steam ovens offer the following innovative, easy-to-use features:
- simultaneous cooking of different food types without the risk of flavour contamination;
- minimum heat loss when the door is opened;
- self-cleaning function;
- controlled cooking of vacuum-sealed dishes;
- totally reliable steam production for roasting, grilling or just heating;
- telescopic shelf rails to enable easy removal of baking trays;
- retractable handle and oven door.
Induction hobs allow you to move pans around easily. With the new TwistPadFire , you can adjust both the heat of the hob and the settings of the extractor hood (if integrated into the hob).
Neff offers a huge range of extractor hoods: including wall, worktop and ceiling installations, retractable and island chimney versions, and hoods integrated with the hob. Neff has given a creative touch to its wall-mounted hoods by making them magnetic, and adding a re-writable surface and a shelf for books.
Neff also develops and produces silent dishwashers using top-quality materials such as Zeolite: a natural mineral that absorbs moisture and transforms it into heat, allowing dishes to dry after washing with greater savings of energy. Savings are also made in terms of the quantity of water used in the washing process: 6.5 litres as opposed to 14 litres for a standard wash.
Neff has focused similar attention on the design of its other appliances: microwave ovens, warming drawers, coffee machines, washing machines, fridges and freezers.
