At the end of the nineteenth century Francesco Bertazzoni founded his company after having seen some cheap wood-fired kitchens in Guastalla on the carriages of the new railway that connects the city to the industrial centers of the North. With the help of his son Antonio decides to start manufacturing them: success is immediate and, in short, the Bertazzoni brand is affirmed throughout Italy.

The family built the first factory in 1909, then expanded in the 1920s. After the tragic events that upset Europe in the '30s and' 40s, the '50s saw the start of a period of continuous growth. The first Bertazzoni gas stoves are produced in 1953, followed by kitchens and gases further refined, in 1958, by the addition of the oven.

In the following years the company conquered new markets - in Europe at the beginning, then in the Middle East and in the Pacific area, to make its way into the North American market in 2005.
The company currently uses advanced production techniques, borrowed from the automotive industry, to be able to double production since 2010 thanks to large and modern systems.
