 In 1964 Schulte Elektrotechnik became, thanks to the development of innovative RCDs, the benchmark for integrated safety concepts for electrical devices . A lot has happened since then.
Behind EVOline® is Schulte Elektrotechnik. In 1964 Siegfried Schulte began working as a freelance engineer in Lüdenscheid and continues to work on his mission today: to make electrical engineering safer and more intelligent . Thus Schulte Elektrotechnik has become, thanks to the development of innovative RCDs, the benchmark for integrated safety concepts for electrical devices.
 Early products included patented engine-saving, zero-voltage, and deadman switches, which made the use of circular saws, lawnmowers, and other dangerous devices safe. Even today they are mounted by the millions by the leading manufacturers on the market.


The first vehicle steering column switch that connects all circuits from the indicators to the steering wheel light is another of nearly 300 patents registered by Schulte Elektrotechnik. In 1997 Siegfried Schulte received the Rudolf-Diesel Gold Medal from the then President of the Federal Council Johannes Rau, for the invention of the first self-resetting residual current circuit breaker for a decentralized, self-controlled application.
With EVOline®, Schulte Elektrotechnik has transformed itself from a manufacturer of special switches for installation to a solution provider of modular systems for electrical sockets and data . EVOline® products are found both in offices and hotels , and in built-in kitchens . With the award-winning Plug, EVOline® has also become a reference name for private customers.
