The Ilve AGQ120 hood belongs to the Professional Plus series, a collection that combines innovative technologies with a style that creates a professional atmosphere in the kitchen, also from a design point of view.

Characterized by the large inclined suction surface which makes every movement during cooking easier and safer, the AGQ120 hood has a width of 120 cm and guarantees low energy consumption , being in energy class A.

The hood draws in the fumes and vapors generated during cooking , which are purified for the first time by making them pass through metal filters with a labyrinth structure , which form an impenetrable barrier for fats; being made of stainless steel, the filters are dishwasher safe . Subsequently, fumes and vapors follow a different path, depending on the type of installation of the hood, which is set up to operate in both extraction and filtering modes .

In the case of an extractor hood (or with external evacuation) fumes and vapors are conveyed towards the outside through an exhaust pipe which connects the upper connection of the hood (located above the motor) with the evacuation chimney of the building itself .

In the case of a filter hood (or internal recirculation), used mainly in environments without ducts to the outside, fumes and vapors are further purified through an activated carbon filter, before re-introducing the clean air into the environment through slits located in the upper part of the fireplace. In a filtering hood it is essential that the carbon filters are always installed and regularly replaced ( approximately every 3-4 months, depending on the use of the hood) in order to avoid the introduction of unpurified air into the room as well as premature damage of the engine.

The AGQ hood is equipped with LED lighting and a 4-speed motor :
- speed 1: keeps the air clean with low electricity consumption ;
- speed 2: normal conditions of use (e.g. steam suction);
- speed 3: extraction of fumes and particularly intense odors (e.g. frying or cooking on a plate)
- speed 4 or intensive: set the motor to maximum speed for 5 minutes, then automatically return to third speed.
