BOWIE by Felis is an upholstered bed with a linear design and large volumes , a real furnishing idea designed to furnish the bedroom in a creative way.

Ideal for particularly spacious rooms, furnished in a modern or minimal style, the Bowie bed is proposed here in the XL variant, characterized by the considerable width of the headboard , which extends 55 cm beyond the limits of the bed frame , both on the right and left side. . The headboard has a thickness of 15 cm and is finished on the perimeter with a pinched edge , also repeated in the finish of the bed frame.

The Bowie XL bed is available with two different types of bed frame, namely:
- "Ring YOSHI" (h 34 cm), bed frame with clear and precise contours that give the bed a contemporary look, proposed as standard with "Basic" feet h 3 cm, available in wengè, black, white and silver finishes, and combinable (with a small surcharge) with "Lux" feet, h 3 cm, painted in wengè, black, white or chromed finishes.
- "Ring KOBE" (h 21 cm) , thin bed frame with a linear profile, designed to lighten the overall volumes, combined with the modern siltta foot with lead gray finish. The sled foot has a height of 13 cm which is practical and functional, greatly facilitating cleaning operations under the bed.

Completely removable , the Bowie bed can be made in a wide choice of fabric or eco-leather covers , selected materials paying particular attention to the evolution of market trends, to meet the most diverse needs both in terms of texture and colors.

The bed is available in the following 4 versions:
1 - Bed without net
2 - Bed with fixed base
3 - Bed with container and "Dynamic" mechanism : equipped with a traditional "simple lift" mechanism that allows lifting at 45 ° for convenient access to the container compartment.
4 - Bed with container and "Maverick" mechanism (available only with "Yoshi" bed frame): equipped with a "double lift" mechanism that allows both to be lifted at 45 °, and then to raise the bed base and mattress parallel to the floor at height necessary to have more total access to the containers and to be able to make the bed without having to lower yourself into awkward positions and lift the mattress from below.

The Bowie bed with Yoshi bed frame can also be equipped with the "Clean Up System" , an exclusive Felis patent that allows you to comfortably clean the area under the bed with the swiffer or vacuum cleaner. The mechanism, which can be purchased separately on this site, provides for the application of two retractable levers on the sides of the ring which, when needed, raise the bed by 13 cm, making 4 sturdy non-marking rubber wheels come out that allow you to move the bed back and forth without effort!

In the versions with fixed base and with container, the bed is equipped with the standard "Armony" base , equipped with 68 mm slats in steamed and hot-bent beech plywood with very low formaldehyde release: 26 slats for the double version.

Exclusively on request, through our customer service, it is possible to replace the "Armony" series bed base with one of the following types of optional bed bases , available at a surcharge:
- "Thai" bed base: equipped with more numerous and thinner slats, to better adapt to the specific weight of the user and evenly distribute the pressure of the mattress. The slats are 38 mm in beech wood: 23 slats for the version.
- "Energy" slatted base (not available for beds with a width of 120 cm) : equipped with 6/12 extra slats and relative adjusters that allow you to vary the stiffness of the support surface, in the lumbar area or wherever you prefer. By acting on the special stiffness adjusters in the selected areas and positioning them appropriately, it is possible to define exactly the flexibility of the different floor areas and to fully customize the support of the bed base. The slats are 38 mm in evaporated beech plywood and hot bent with very low formaldehyde release: 46 slats (+ 12 adjustable) for the 2-square version.

Bed: Fir wood blocks and / or poplar plywood boxes. 18/25 mm panels in E1 class poplar wood particles with low formaldehyde emission and natural wood fiber. Non-deformable polyurethane foam with differentiated load-bearing capacity, density from 18 kg / mc to 40 kg / mc. First covering in polyester foam coupled with heat bonding interliner in polyester and / or 200g 100% polyester wadding. 12-14 mm container bottom panels in E1 class poplar wood particles.
Meshes: all types of mesh available are integral with the metal structure with silicone rubber connections. 40mm x 30mm square section steel frame. Painted with epoxy powders.
