A true homage to the peace and breath of the woods, the Zen headboard is part of the "Free Beds" program by Devina Nais , a creative concept designed to allow you to personally build your bed by mixing trends and stylistic canons, thanks to workmanship and details ranging between natural and cosmopolitan, classic and contemporary, elegant and casual style.
Entirely made of solid oak wood (material), with a thickness of 4.2 cm and a height of 100 cm , the Zen headboard is characterized by strong and perfectly regular lines but, thanks to the craftsmanship and the uniqueness of the raw materials , which they increase its value and character, each headboard is a truly unique piece . Upon request, with a small price increase, the upper profile of the headboard can also be made with a bark effect edge , a high-impact process that recreates the texture of the bark of the trunk, bringing the authentic charm of nature into the home.
Intriguing and scenographic, the Zen headboard is available in 13 finishes designed to maximize the natural characteristics of the wood and give the room a touch of timeless elegance .
Proposed here in the suspended effect variant , refined and surprisingly current, the headboard is proposed in well 4 widths that lead it to explore new dimensions of volumes and design by playing with the proportions of the bed frame: in the width of 190 or 210 cm it creates a perfect balance between size and presence, providing an elegant visual impact without overloading the space, while in the width of 270 or 300 cm , the headboard fits into the environment with an even more powerful volume that makes it the focal point of the room, decorating the wall on which it is attached almost like a boiserie.
Proposed as standard with a smooth finish , with a small surcharge the headboard can be embellished with the ribbed workmanship typical of the Zero.16 collection of the Devina Nais brand, a horizontal "striped" workmanship with a three-dimensional effect, which can be created on the upper portion of the headboard (h 40.5cm) which catches the eye for its ability to emphasize the material details of the wood, changing its appearance depending on the point of observation.
In combination with the Zen headboard, the Free Beds program offers 8 types of bed frame , available for 150x190 cm, 160x200 cm or 180 x 200 cm bed base ; in detail it is possible to choose between the following variants:
- Elegance wooden bed frame , characterized by a rounded profile, available with tall and slender metal feet that rise laterally beyond the limits of the bed frame, or in the suspended variant;
- Slim wooden bed frame , characterized by the flared shape and the reduced height of the profile, available with metal feet with a modern cut or in the suspended version;
- Zero.16 wooden bed frame , with the characteristic ribbed workmanship with horizontal "stripes", available with conical-shaped metal feet or in the suspended variant;
- Soft padded bed frame , characterized by a rounded profile, available with tall and slender metal feet that rise laterally beyond the limits of the bed frame, or in the suspended variant.
All variants of wooden bed frames can be made in over 30 finishes ranging from the neutral tones of natural finishes to the sophisticated and intriguing shades of open pore lacquered finishes, while the upholstered bed frames can be made in fabric, leather or eco-leather , materials available in a vast assortment of current and trendy finishes; the feet are available in 9 finishes.
The price of the bed frames from the Free Beds program proposed here is inclusive of the bed base ; in detail, the Slim bed frame and the related suspended variant are equipped with a structural base , while all the other types of bed frame are supplied with an orthopedic top with 68x8mm plywood slats (the frame is made of 40x30 mm tube, with corners rubber connection with embossed aluminum gray finish).
As illustrated in the product images, the Free beds system provides the possibility of positioning the bed base at two different heights , i.e. with a mattress flush with the bed frame (positioning A) or with a built-in mattress (positioning B): unless otherwise specified in the order the network will be provided in position A.
To increase the level of comfort of the room, each bed with Zen headboard can finally be enriched with one or more accessories, pleasant to look at and practical to use, such as the sophisticated suspended bedside tables to be attached to the headboard, the comfortable kit of 2 pillows for the headboard , the practical spotlight or the intriguing metal shelf with an industrial mood; all accessories can be purchased separately on our website.
Exclusively on request, with a price increase, it is possible to add a recessed LED lighting system to the headboard, which includes a 4000°K 8 W LED strip per linear meter, with 300 cm of cable, in addition to the 50 or 75 transformer W 12V DC and 6-way distributor. Also available with touch sensor or remote control, the kit offers indirect lighting that gives the room a relaxing and refined tone, giving the headboard an intriguing three-dimensional effect.

Considering their small surface area and the fact that the same surface is often machined (Zero.16 milled, rounding of the Slim, etc.), there are no color matching problems between oak bed frames and textured oak headboards. It remains up to the customer's description and their aesthetic taste to opt for headboards in textured oak or oak headboards.
