 HERO12 Black takes best-in-class image quality to the next level with High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology for video (5.3K and 4K) and photos. Videos shot in 5.3K boast a resolution that is 91% higher than 4K and 665% higher than 1080p. That's why HERO12 Black can produce videos with exceptionally sharp details and big-screen image quality in HDR, as well as 27 MP photos.
 Ideal in both shaded areas and very bright environments, HDR technology captures the smallest details of each scene that generally blend into shadows or disappear into the brightest points of your shot.
Slo-Mo up to 8x
 Everything is even more beautiful in slow motion. HERO12 Black lets you capture video with up to 8x Slo-Mo and resolutions up to 2.7K. You can then play them back at normal speed or in super-smooth slow motion to capture epic details that are impossible to see with the naked eye.

8 bit video, 10 bit + Log
 With HERO12 Black, you can choose whether to record 8-bit, 10-bit or Log video. The 10-bit option can reproduce over a billion shades with enhanced color depth and smoother gradations, for incredibly lifelike video, while 8-bit footage offers smaller file formats. More experienced users can use the Log function to obtain more detailed footage and make necessary color adjustments in post-production.

This product features digital zoom. Maximum Digital Zoom: Up to 2x for 1080p video. Up to 1.4x for higher resolutions (e.g. 4K, 5.3K). Native Field of View (FOV): The 8:7 sensor allows for a wide field of view, which can reach up to 156°. Field of View (FOV) with Accessory: With the Max Lens Mod 2.0 (optional accessory), the field of view can reach an ultra-wide angle of 177°.
